Taking the basket in and out of the unit requires a precise and weird angle.
I washed everything and ran a preheat cycle and after taking it out I could smell a burnt plastic smell… not sure what caused it but it sure was present.
Buttons are hard to press… but I guess that's minor for how much it costs. Overall it's too big of a hassle to return but I wish I didn't get it
The max temp of 400F may not do for some recipes. Otherwise it's a neat appliance that works well.
Personally, I haven't had any issues regarding water getting trapped in the window area yet. Even if you wash right before use, I can't imagine any issues using it; seems like water will dry one way or another.
This may work for recipes that ask for up to 450; 500 may be "out of range."

It works great. The controls are typical Gourmia... they take some time to learn so people either love them or hate them. The window in the drawer is a nice upgrade making it easy to keep track of the cook without opening the drawer. I've read comments about moisture getting inside the window during washing but I have run a lot of loads it in since purchase and I wash the drawer and tray beteen each load... have yet to experience any moisture inside the window. However this may be due to the fact that I don't fully emerse the drawer when washing... did the same with the earlier "non-window" model as well.
Yes, a bit of water does get trapped occasionally when washing. I just set 'er out to air dry (typically upside down).
Here's an example of how to do it: https://www.thetakeout.
