Looks like a non stick tray, maybe that handle is the stainless steel in the description?

It does have a non-stick tray. The "stainless steel" is just the label plate across the front and the strip on the plastic handle. This model was on sale at Target for $33.99 a couple of weeks ago. Picked one up as well as a Ninja AF101 for $37 to compare. The Gourmia has a lot more presets, touchscreen buttons, larger basket, interior light and window, but it's noisier, doesn't heat as evenly, and seems a bit flimsier. The Ninja seemed to have better build quality, actual buttons, is quieter, and cooks faster and more evenly. Decided to keep the Ninja and return the Gourmia.

Good unit. Does not do 450 but at 450 you need steel or glass. I would not cook anything in plastic at 450. Otherwise good deal. Tested circulation which was excellent. To remove smells run with water lemon glass water bowl. Glass window is plus. Good unit to avoid greasy up fryer toaster ovens which are better to bake or reheat not fry spatter grease. Use zep orange cleaner for grease

Returning mine. Window is plastic. 3 weeks still has plastic smell. Bought ninja with ceramic coat and no plastic windows to get hot and cook with food. However, it's a well made unit with great heat and circulation.
