I've seen this one get some love and some hate, but honestly at $40 it's hard to go wrong for an air fryer with a viewing window and presets. I've had a Gourmia before and it handled daily use pretty well for the price. Curious if anyone's had long-term luck with this specific model though?

Doesn't the window get nasty pretty quick?

I have had gourmia air fryer for 4 years. Not this specific model but it works fine. Thinking about getting a replacement one since I use it a lot..

You are going to need it, they break. I actually can't believe yours has lasted 4 years unless you don't use it very often.

One of the screw fell off from the basket but other than that it still works fine. It has some grease in the coil but I cleaned it occasionally so it's not bad.

I've had this one for about a year, its nice. By far the quietest one I've ever used and cooks everything fine.

As someone who recently purchased an 8qt Gourmia with a window from Costco, I thought the same thing. It has actually given me incentive to wash it after each use, because the window with the light actually comes in handy if you keep it clean.

I bought this one at Costco last week for $45. I bought my old Gourmia air fryer 6 years ago and wanted to try something new. My old Gourmia airfryer still works perfectly and I use it almost everyday. I have no complaints with Gourmia.

Our 6qt Gourmia air fryer was also purchased for $40 around four years ago. Perfect size for family of four, roasts a whole chicken. We also like making kids pizzas with mini naan breads from Costco and can do 3 of those at a time.

With daily use, the strap holding up the heat element rusted away last month. Nothing a $2 stainless steel zip tie couldn't solve! Great deal.

1st air fryer ended up with the damaged/replaced close door sensor. Second one had the touch controls die on me. Each lasted around 4years. Is that what everyone's getting of life with air fryers? There really isn't a buy it for life with these right?

I've also had toaster style "ovens" with the heating rod... though those usually just heat from the top and have a "bake" taste to things

My question is...how do we mostly feel about the door sensors going bad and the touch screen controls?
