I also have a Gourmia that I bought from Costco. I've had it for 5.5 years and it still works…
But, recently my kid bent the basket and it is now causing the basket to open on its own sometimes during cooking.
Despite that, I feel like I got my money's worth.

I've had this one for about a year. It works really well and is super quiet, way quieter than any other one I have tried. I'm getting another at this price while its still available, before its "upgraded" or discontinued.

Got this last year for christmas. Have used it at least once a week since then, sometimes 2-3 times. The coating on my basket is not holding up as well as I would have liked and i take good care of it. At the same time we have used it a LOT in that time and it has worked well.

You can get paper liners in various shapes, some are even perforated. (amazon)
