Well, they're not Fiskars and they don't ship for free. But I do like HF and I do shop there on occasion. Thank you for posting this alternative.

Not a PowerGear model, so thicker branches will take much more effort.
Similar at Grocery Outlet and Aldi this week, but extendable, cheaper $11~. So unless you're the type to break tools, not worth it.

I'm not going to try to convince anyone that the cheap HF stuff is better than named brands, but I have the 28" lopper for years and it's still great. I also have a Fiskers 14' lopper from HD and it is great too. These tools just need to keep an edge and not go loose at the pivot.

Interesting... Aldi has both anvil and bypass loppers. 1.57 inch capacity. Looks like they mixed up the photos on the website though. I wonder how they hold up.
