Bought this monitor a while back when it was on sale for like $1500. Absolutely worth it for sure. Productivity and development stuff on this thing is unmatched.

No GPU can push enough frames to hit the 240hz at native res, but games look great with AI Upscaling. Would absolutely buy it at this price if I didn't already have it.

I plan to use this monitor just for development/productivity (no gaming), so 120Hz or even 60Hz is fine.
Do I still need a fancy GPU for the dual 4k? Or will it work with the built-in Intel (R) Graphics card on my laptop?

got this a while back and none of the gpu can really push it. currently running the AMD 9070xt. i will upgrade when we get oled or microLED version.
5080+9800x3d barely do the work. but the monitor gets super hot at 7680*2160 with 240hz refresh rate. it feel a heat wave coming right in the face.

If I were to get this model, should I get it now or wait for Black Friday?

Does 120hz still cause a heat wave?

Just a heads up, most competitive games see anything beyond 21:9 ratio as an 'advantage' and will add black bars and prevent it from using all of the real estate available. Make sure you do your research on which games you plan to use this for before you drop $1.2k on it

You will not regret if you get it! If its in a deal, get it now. If it goes down by too much during bf, get another. I dont use all the famcy stuff others are saying, i just use it for work, with split screen at times between tow laptops. I absolutely love it. I cannot imagine goung back to working on other 27inch dual monitor

I have a 5090 system, with 49 inch dqhd I am getting about 180 fps with dlss on Assasin creed shadows and battlefield. What kind of frame rates can I expect with this system? will be half of dqhd?

Costco has this for 1499 plus a $120 Costco card also if you don't have EPP, plus get the extra 2% cashback if you do thier exec membership. Not sure what you would need the 24" monitor for if you are like me...already have extras floating around.

This isn't perfect and I haven't used the site, but hopefully it might help. The site doesn't go this big for the monitor so probably take another 5-10% off the numbers:

This deal comes with 2 year Samsung Care. I wonder whether Costco technical support is of the same level?

Is this 57" worth considering for productivity if I already have the 49" Odyssey G9? I'm thinking the extra vertical space may be helpful

I think the biggest upgrade from 49" G9 is the 2160 vertical resolution. You have much higher PPI, which is great for productivity for great text clarity. The much larger screen real estate is another big factor for productivity work as you can place multiple windows side by side, avoiding the time for window switching.

I'm running a MAcbookpro M4max with TB4 ports. How do you connect to this monitor? I`m looking for productivity and multi screen set up for work and some photo video editing. Does it have a KVM switch?

If you have questions about this monitor I'd recommend reading this [absurdly detailed Reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawid...u_need_to/). There are some quirks to be aware of, especially with Mac compatibility.
