Great monitor - worth it. However, it is INSANELY hot and it's parabolic shape radiates you with an uncomfortable level of heat. Turning the brightness down does help, but it does not solve the issue. I've tried a number of things to help, the best I've been able to come up with is a fan blowing across the front of the screen.
Would I buy again? Of course, the heat is super annoying though.

This is probably the greatest productivity monitor on the market at the moment simply due to the amount of real estate you get from a single screen.
If you've been eyeing this monitor, I think this is worth pulling the trigger on at this price point.

you might be sitting too close to it. It should only be very slightly more inconvenient to view objects on the far edges by glancing and turning head the slightest amount

Any concerns about this being VA and not IPS?

I bought mine earlier in the year from Best Buy for the sake of the warranty. Absolutely love it and I was coming from a 42 inch C2 OLED.

I do miss the true black of an OLED, but the screen size is worth it. For productivity, you have never seen anything like this. I have about 8 spreadsheets open, at a time, and still have room for other things. My favorite part about it is the Picture By Picture option. I keep my work laptop going on one screen and my personal computer on the other. I just use a usb sharing switch to flip my peripherals between the two.

For gaming...unreal. I can't play on my TV anymore. In Battlefield, you literally turn your physical head and can see people coming from the sides.

2 thoughts. Wow, this matches my dual 34" LG setup in size to the INCH! but wait, no GSYNC? Comeon!

Wondering if bestbuy would price match this deal? Probably not since it's EPP/EDU special.
Hesitant about buying from Samsung due to bad experiences reported online dealing with their customer service. I would prefer to buy from BB and get a geeksquad warranty on it, but not sure if we can get similar price at bestbuy.
Anyone can comment on Samsung Care? Is it a lot of hassle to deal with? How does it compare to GeekSquad warranty?

I picked this up at $1349 a little over a month ago and I absolutely love it. It rips on AAA games with a 5080 and looks amazing. I'm playing BF6 right now in 4K on overkill graphics and its incredible. I also use it in conjunction with a 34" monitor mounted above on a 2 arm wall mount I picked up from Amazon. For productivity, you feel like you'll never run out of work space.
Delivery was smooth and no issues setting it up or using it. Only issue is if the computer sends the monitor to sleep, it won't wake up by moving the mouse or keyboard. It's a known issue and there might very well be an easy fix out there (I haven't really looked), but I just disabled sleep and haven't messed with it yet. I gave away the promo monitor to my son's friend but you could easily sell it to recoup some cost.

I'm currently using a 43 inch 4K TV myself, and I've been serious considering this monitor. Do you miss the vertical space that you lost. Granted it's not a whole lot, but you do lose some. @jclyon41

what kind of fps are you getting for bf6 overkill? how much frame gen are you using? I was considering this with 5090 but was worried it would not be able to push 240 fps for 2x4k resolution

Makes me worry about the longevity of the panel. Plus I don't trust Samsung...
