I never post, but I really need to add my two cents here. I bought one of these a while back for $500 at Microcenter. Out the box, this thing is SLOW. It doesn't seem to know if it's a gaming monitor or a smart TV, and lands somewhere in the middle: it's terrible at both. The picture is beautiful, but these are plagued with overheating issues that require warranty voiding modification. The first time I used mine, I played FF16 on my PS5, it only took 15 minutes to overheat (this is represented by the screen turning black for a short period of time, which grows longer and longer if you don't turn it off). I would buy this at $150 and mod it but frankly even $350 I won't touch it again.

I got this monitor for around this price a year ago or so. It's solidly okay. There is mild ghosting but I have to look for it. It is really too large for 4k at monitor distances and text can be ever so slightly pixelated.

If you have it to the side, at a distance, or repurpose it as a tv it is not a bad choice, except you can probably get a 4k tv of this size or bigger for half the price.

I would have been happier with a 32 but I ended up jumping to the 57, which is obviously a whole other ballgame and which I have no complaints about. But if it were to be a primary monitor and reading or typing would be a consideration i'd skip this.

Model has been around for years and this not a deal! It merely a fair price for what it is, and will be discontinued this year.

Unless you need something like this NOW, you'll be MUCH better waiting several months and buy the new tech. This is 3 years old now, and while monitors don't have nearly updates, when they do make jumps, it worth waiting OR buying cheap.. this is neither and has been poorly reviewed even when it was 'new', with sales sub 400 many times.

Don't confuse fair value with a deal folks.

Are you sure it isn't because of your HDMI cable not supporting 4K144Hz (HDMI 2.1)? Have you tried turning off Freesync?
Yes, I purchased several brand new cables, as well as using several old known good cables. I also used this with my PS5 digital, Alienware gaming laptop with RTX 3070, and my desktop with a 7900XTX. I tried with G Sync, Freesync, and no adaptive sync. The only time the monitor did not experience periods of blackness is when I was using the built in smart TV apps.

What a vague reply. How do you know it's going to be discontinued? What "new tech"? What "jumps"?Let me know when you find a 43" 4K 144Hz Mini-LED monitor at the same price

I own this monitor, if you understand its limitations and set your expectations, its pretty damn good, especially for the price imo.

I think 1000.00 is a bit high. I bought this from Best Buy in 2024 for 500. 350 is still a good deal IMO but it is def not a 1000.00 retail monitor.
agreed, this is really good at 350, ok at 500, not really a deal at 700 or 800 and def not msrp at 1k. It might not be best for competitive FPS but i play mostly single player stuff not competitive and its awesome and beautiful and huge lol.

Owned one for over a year now and its my main gaming monitor. Have never had an issue with it going black or "overheating" like you describe. IMO it runs nice and cool and i keep it at 144 with max brightness 24/7

Are these good for watching regular tv?
its ok but its primarily meant to be a monitor. A decent tv is going to have better image handling / upscaling / adjustments geared twoard tv / movies imo.

Sure as hell won't get the 43" "new tech" for $350.

This is still a deal. 43" gaming monitor please show the comps? Or you're not helpful at all.

If your 32" are 1080P, you should notice a big difference. Any computer monitor that is 1080p over about maybe 24" is going to have blocky text as a computer monitor. I've been using a 39" Seiki 4K for ten years and will never go back to 1080P.

Price changes in cart. Can't get it to checkout with AAA or other partner program. Any ideas?
