if you're gonna do it dont wait. I got this a few weeks ago at $52.. It seems they end the deal then, run it again at a slightly higher price. it was 58.. now 65. still a good deal just saying. I've noticed this on the other bundles I've had slow feet with

I havent used them yet unfortunately but $25 isnt bad if you already have batteries. I was reading the reviews today.. thinking about returning for the brushless combo deal. my drills are the brushless model and they work great for 3 years so far of just diy use

for the average homeowner just wanting to work on diy projects these are just fine.. if I was a contractor by trade, sure there's better options. I dont use my tools daily, just when I need them less than 10x a year likely

It depends on your idea of DIY. This saw is toy and will struggle to cut through a soft 2 x 4. It has very limited use. The 6 1/2" is way more versatile and has better power.

I have a bigger, corded saw for that.. use case for this would be cutting plywood, beadboard, etc.. all tools work correctly when used within the proper use case. there's levels to everything.. there's a reason they make them in different sizes

Agreed. If you're only going to own one saw, you do not want it to be this Ryobi one.

From the reviews it looks like it would not be a good saw for my repair project for my Deck.
