Why are we advertising "Fair" condition pricing? Recondition/Refurb is one thing, but straight up "used" shouldn't be the advertised price. If we're going to post Open-Box pricing, at least post the Excellent price.

I've purchased multiple "Fair" laptops that were essentially brand new, just no accessories. You can open it at the store before you leave with it.

I always play the fair condition lottery when prices are disjointed like this. Even in fair condition, this is an excellent deal. 80% of the laptops listed in fair condition are closer to excellent condition, needing only a surface cleaning. Most of the fair condition ones I bought were store demos and had a stain from where they placed the price sticker on the lid. In the event that it's worse than advertised, just return it and move on with your life. Having Best Buy TotalTech also is an advantage if you're worried about expiring warranty.

I'll take this all day over a MacBook Neo or Dell's XPS equivalent.

I bought this yesterday. Amazing laptop, couldn't find a dent or scratch anywhere. The screen is gorgeous, the design is beautiful, this is a steal at this price. However, I have had some bad luck with fair condition best buy products in the past but I would say its still pretty rare. Most of their fair products are in great shape.

The only one near me was "good" and it ended up being the display model. Had stickers left on the bottom and over 600 hours of power on time.

Everyone is going to sour no matter what you do. Ive heard most fair condition laptops are closer to looking new than fair. If I had posted fair, your twin would have posted the same and asked why I didnt post the fair price. Be happy with a deal post, especially since I found one with Asus.
