Lenovo won the race from my prespective
This looks to be a better spec. Anyone have any feedback which one is a better, faster, work laptop?
This was the Lenovo deal. Good chance it comes back in stock. I went with the HP though.

ok. first day of use, 6 hours and 20 mintues of a web based application, on wifi. run the first 5 hours on full brighness, after which it reached 20% and went in to power saving mode. had the setting on battery one notch back from max performance.
So far, I am thinking worth it to wait for a 10th generation LG laptop for 900. much better battery life and screen. I am using this for web based application, and I think a 10th generation i5 or i7 will be quite adequate. I may try it on zoom later.
Charging via USB C works! I used the charging brick from MacBook Pro 16'
Anyone has coil whine(high pitch noise) on their unit?
Mine has it, and it gets worse when the battery is fully charged using the adaptor.
It's coming from under the left palm rest area.
When it's not charging, I can barely hear it.
Charging via USB C is less noticeable compare to the 45W adaptor that came with it.
Really like everything about this laptop... speedy and fan barely comes on, when it does it does have high pitch noise too from the fan.
I'll try to solve the coil whine issue from my unit, if I can't solve it, I'll need to exchange or return it... can't handle the high pitch noise..

On paper this ASUS Vivobook seems similar to the Costco HP pavilion ryzen 7, which one is a better computer and why, which one would you buy?
It seems like there are mixed reviews about these HP pavilions, even though it has some of the better hardware - has kept me looking instead of buying
