Meh, my data is as worthless as me..
This one offers it to. Just enable only 2.4 for extended and only 5Ghz for backhaul
Hi use this in the basement. I have it configured for 5G for connecting to the main network and 2.4 G for the extended network I have AT&T one gigabit fiber. When I used to be in the basement used to get about 8 Mb. And now I get about 60 Mb.
In the main two levels of the house I get about 600 Mb

However, if you have a stationary object in the dead zone, such as a Roku stick or a computer, and that's the ONLY thing you need WiFi on, then you can probably get by with a cheap extender.
If you want speed to be maintained over the larger distance, don't buy this and apparently buy a mesh network (without anyone actually giving a single link to recommended or best choices etc).
Overall I'm very upset with most of these comments, wasted my time.
