I have used this sim card kit before to get different porting number deals, like Visible and Cricket, grab it and stock it when it is still available

this is an almost free number, $1! I keep a couple in the drawer, and activate to get the number, account information when the deal comes up.

This is not almost free number for $1.
You still have to activate and costs a min of $10. The credits apply 2nd month and on...
Good deal but always have trouble with tings payment screen. Payments never go through.
Fwiw, the one I recently pick up states $30 credit applies to second month. So not a great deal if you need to fork over $10 for the first month and fees.

I am not sure what is the difference but that $30 directly applied and my current bill is charged from that $30 instead of my gift card. of course, to make sure, I used up that gift card after activation.
