Fwiw, the one I recently pick up states $30 credit applies to second month. So not a great deal if you need to fork over $10 for the first month and fees.

I always use those rebate or reward gift card and never had issue. don't want to leave my credit card with them

I am not sure what is the difference but that $30 directly applied and my current bill is charged from that $30 instead of my gift card. of course, to make sure, I used up that gift card after activation.

maybe there is different version?? I just found my previous ting account bill statement email and shows my payment is 0 although I accidentally used a little bit data before it connects to wifi.

What's the final cost for activation etc for one month?

Edit: has anyone tried doing month to month with these sims? Like one month for one sim, then a new sim the next month? Keeping the same number doesn't matter... Just wondering about activation cost and other fees
