Target [target.com] and Best Buy [bestbuy.com] are offering the Ting Mobile Sim Card Kit with $30 Service Credit for $1.

The SIM kit states the $30 credit kicks in after the first month. I had luck applying it to my first month of service, but YMMV.

Note, availability for store pickup may vary by location. Shipping is only free if over $35. Limit 2 per order.

The sim card…card will have it noted. X3 is Tmobile and V1 is Verizon. From my research they are only packaging X3 now and the Verizon one has to be requested from customer service. I bought one from Target and one from Best Buy. Both were X3.

I can't say that all the SIM are the same, but the one I bought and opened said I had to use it before October 10, 2023. So, you have about two years from this posted answer.

Can use for porting out to take advantage of Visible deals. Porting out should auto cancel the account.

Can anyone recommend an easier way to get the port out info besides chatting with the reps? Didn't see all the port info the last time I logged in to "my account."

Got 2 last time. $30 credit starts the 1st day. The first one I just used it on my spare phone. Canceled one week before it expired. Chat to cancel. Not hard at all.
I put the second one and used it for about a month, then $100 visible deal came along couple days ago so I ported out today.

How did you get the 30$ credit at the first month ?
When you first activate the sim it will force you to pick a plan and pay for it at checkout before activating the sim

FYI, I ordered from Target not realizing they are Tmobile Sims. I had to contact ting and have them send me Verizon Sims, as I don't have Tmobile in my area. But ting will seemingly always do a $25 credit for you to try the service if you just hop on chat and ask as a potential new customer. Had ting for a few months now. Been very happy with it. Customer service is very friendly.

Ting is a POST paid service, not PRE paid. Pick a plan($10) and you will be billed after a month. but you have $30 credit so you can get about 2 month service for free(with little data)

It's there, exactly as described in this article. No need to contact support.
