It's been on sale for about this much several times in the past. Sometimes a sale is just a sale.

Thanks for sharing. I might try something like that in the future if I can find the right parts for cheap. That article is lacking some details.

You can find the Chinese site if you google and translate it, it has more details.

How much is the elusive adapter? What are you saving on nvme? Seems like a lot more work to save $20-30.

Won't bite on this until 187 again. Better yet wait until Oct for CF PayPal Quarter.

Don't know, I didn't dig that far into it, that's your job if you really want to know. I just dump Series games onto my external drive that I'm not currently playing if I need room.

That's one solution. This is a thread for another. I have a 4TB SSD connected to XSX yet only 70GB left of internal left for optimized games with Cyberpunk hopefully getting there soon. . I'd love a 3rd party solution like mentioned but think due to tech, this is going to remain the most practical for while; sadly no 2TB on horizon either. This will be a slightly warmer deal from Newegg in Oct with 5% CB UR quarter, net $175 if Newegg hooks up 15% again. I suspect they will.
