Weren't the WD 1 TB drives $135? Anyone know how the two of them compared, since the WD ones are pretty new, comparatively.

I would personally purchase whatever is cheapest. I have had the seagate drive for Xbox. I also have a WD SSD drive in my PS5. WD drives have been rated well. I have had good luck with them as back up and as main drives my computers.

Yep. But Amazon jacked the price up to $150 to try to make this "deal" look better than it really is.

I was waiting for WD to release a 2TB...I'm almost tempted to jump on this now though.

The prices need to catch up to current times. I want one of these but I'm not paying that much. Guess I need to wait longer.

Yep agreed. For the same price you can get twice the storage for the ps5. I say hold the line and force them to lower it.

Heck, many of the really good 2tb NVME's have been $100 or less today!

FYI, the normal price for this product is $149.99, not $220.00 like SlickDeals is claiming.

This is a $10 discount on a $150 product. Not terrible if you need it today, but these have been overpriced for a long time and will probably see much more significant discounts when Black Friday comes.

The only thing I dislike about xbox series s|x is these expansion cards. These are about double the price as an expansion for ps5 costs atm. I'm going to hold off until I can get a 2tb for this price.

Until then, keep in mind that older USB hard drives work for 360 and xbox one games for both storage and to play off of them on the newer systems. Series s|x games can be moved to and stored on external USB hard drives (I believe), but cannot be played from this location. I hope this can save someone some $$ while we continue to wait.

I got a 4TB for about $30 more.

I love my Xbox but they were batshit stupid for going this route. If I had to pick one or the other console; this would play a huge part.

Luckily I just buy them all lol.
