Feels like this could be a stock clearing strategy to release a lower price 1TB and maybe some 2TB or 4 TB versions.

With GTA 6 in the future this should fit the whole game not including gameplay data. Thanks OP!

I feel like these have not gone on sale very much, so I am tempted to grab this, but any word on if there is a coming improved model or alternate?

I'm in the same boat, wondering if it's enough extra storage for my series X.

Why don't they push the 2tb version more often?

In 4 1, less space than I want, but the price is more or less what I'm willing to pay. Thx op.

Thanks OP. I got one but I might not open it to hold off until we see some Black Friday deals. I don't need it right away. I can return it if I find a better deal. $70 is still pretty expensive for 512gb. I upgraded my PS5 to a 2TB with a lot better deal, so I have just been buying PS5 games now.

Also, I got it for $66.49 with the red card discount.

As much as I'd like the bigger size, you can't really beat that price. These almost never go on sale..especially that much of a difference.

I constantly see the 1TB version on sale on Facebook Marketplace for $150 or less. New and used condition. I bought a new one for $130 from Facebook Marketplace, and I was able to register it with Seagate for their three warranty. No issues whatsoever. Good luck!
