Got this 2 years ago and haven't regretted it. they typically run it for about $250 every few months and it always ends up being FP.

This is pretty much the best price it gets, sometimes $250, but you may want to wait for the LTE model which can go as low as $300.

One of the best remote start systems I've ever had. Simple plug and play setup. Works very good.

Missed it last time it was on sale because the wife was indecisive. Weather starts getting colder and of course she wants it. In for one. Thanks OP

Is totaltech worth it?

It comes out to $87 for totaltech if I buy it with the compustar.

I've never had it before, so just curious to see if totaltech owners can chime in.

2014 Explorer may have normal looking key but has a transponder hidden in the plastic. If you can start with a plain metal key this is not the case.

I got this last month when it went on sale. Amazing!!! I was hesitant for a while as my key fob on my jeep hasn't worked and the dealer wanted around the same price to re-key.

If you're on the fence about this do it. You won't regret it.
I'm on the fence, only because I need a second set of keys for my 2014 Toyota Sienna. If I get this keyless one, I can avoid paying for a spare set right and just put that $ towards this? I think a second set of keys and a fob would have been like $180 or something.

I have a 2017 Smart car. When I put it my car info I get: "This does not fit your 2017 Smart Fortwo"

Does that mean it can not be installed at all? Or will I just require an extra piece?

We had this installed on our 2016 Honda Odyssey with push to start and there were no extra fees. It works flawlessly with great range. The van stays running when you climb in and hit the brake pedal (I've read other models shut the van off when you do this so you have to start it again) Really a great deal and I would recommend this to anyone!

You can program your ( Toyota ) key with a program called TECHSTREAM you load on a laptop

You but the key from eBay or Amazon and get it cut by your locksmith and then program the immobilizer with techstream.

Google mini mvci cable and Techstream.

Mine stopped working. Do anyone know how to reprogram the remotes again. I have a "push to start" system.
