Nobody is screwing around with a track saw on a commercial job site that does dozens of rips each day on lengths commonly up to 16'. Track saws are sort of good, but limited for those that do not have a table or radial saw AND for breaking down sheet goods like plywood that are too much for one person to handle on a non-sliding table saw without an out feed setup.
I get it, you only have usage of one arm, but there is a reason for the common saying of 'being slower than a one armed paper hanger.'

Yep. Used to regularly be 499 at Lowes, and then, of course, add a 10 percent off coupon.
I'm going to wait, myself. Thanks for the post.

Do you usually buy the coupon or is it available free somewhere
Buy it.

I was one of the lucky one's to get a Reaxx ... but I sold it (for a lot more than I paid due to the SawStop thing). Bosch made, and still makes, a better contractor saw imo.
But a table saw is simply outdated as a tool now. So many other tools do what a table saw does, and are lighter and easier to manage. To me, table saws are overused because "It's the way its always been, and I ain't changin' fur no one!!!" mindset.
Since the arrival of larger track saws, more powerful routers, and a host of other tools have come along (my favorite being a portable panel saw if you have the $$$) table saws are just obsolete. I mean, their only advantage used to be ripping, and repetitive sized long cuts.
The industry is changing. Technology is making things better all the time.
I mean, you could watch a new movie on VHS... or you could step into blu-ray?? Will you continue to have your table saw be flashing "12:00 .... 12:00 .... 12:00
.."?
Do you really have to comment on every table saw deal?

I got a used reaxx for a good price. I need to get it checked as it feels underpowered ( I know a few of the initial ones had this issue and can be fixed with a firmware upgrade).
On your other point, while I do agree in theory that there are other tools that can do the table saw's job but it is difficult to beat the repeatability, multi functionality and convenience of a table saw.
For a lot of us, Lowes has a 10% Military discount online or in store that in many places, just about covers the sales tax. And since you cannot stack, it would have to be the purchase of a 20% coupon to come out ahead.
About $50 of this price is from the 600% increase in shipping costs from China in the past year or so. It is a toss up to wait for shipping costs to come back down to normal while at the same time we are experiencing massive inflation due to the ongoing debasement of the USD by government. If you don't have to have it today, there might be a better deal between now and the new year, but expect shipping costs have already been suffered.
