I was looking for some tool and found these Milwaukee M12 Fuel kits at Home Depot with lower price compared to their typical listing. All of these tools can be hacked to bring down the cost, but you need to deal with the hassle of returning the tools you don't want.

M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw Kit w/ One 4.0Ah Batteries Charger & Tool Bag with Free Tool - $159 ($82 with hack) [homedepot.com]

I have both the fuel and non fuel version and I still use the non fuel version instead. . the size and weight etc is significant and when working on vehicles in tighter areas it just seemed to be a better fit that the fuel got used maybe 5 minutes and has sat in the tool box ever since

If you watch the popular YouTube mechanics they even use the non fuel version it appears ..

Great points. Also I want to add: a cordless ratchet is a nut runner. If anyone is actually looking for more torque they should get an impact wrench. More well spent money than a high torque ratchet. Heck, even Milwaukee recognized this and made their newest brushless ratchets with smaller profile at the expense of lower torque

I will also add I had a Snap-On ratchet even and still went back the the non fuel ratchet as the size etc is perfect for the areas I was using it for let alone it's perfect for smaller bolts but use it daily basically as you stated for running bolts .. can't snap bolts that way which I seem to have a tendency of doing

Can't get this deal to be hackable.

Shame cause I'd like the 3" cutoff tool for doing lathe and plaster removal.

I'm not seeing the details for how to "hack" this. No free tool offer so how do I get the price listed by OP? I'm interested in the installation driver
