Thanks OP! Simpsonville SC had some, but they were tucked away at the far end/contractor entrance side of the store. Ridgid has their 12 gallon variant on the isle end-pieces all around the store for 75$ lol.

As a homeowner with limited storage space I really regretted buying this 5+ years ago. The rigid vac itself is great. It just takes up so much room.

I got this 7hp 5 gallon vac a month ago:

It is such a huge upgrade for me. I love how easy it is to move around compared to the 16 gal. I have never needed the 16 gal capacity, or even come close. Additional suction power is noticeable as well.

I just through I would throw that out there for any new homeowners. I am pretty sure I bought the 16 gal rigid because of a slickdeal and I didn't consider my needs.

This $50 4 gal would probably work for me:

Can confirm this deal. Just picked one up near the front of the store where they're doing their so-called Black Friday deals. The rest of the Ridgid shop vacs were in the regular shop vac section.

HD.com will say $104. If you just go to the store and its in stock it will scan for $50. HD.com was showing $50 briefly than it went to $104. I did a store pickup and also had them scan the price to be curious and it was still $50

Just got back from my local Home Depot - can confirm deal is still live and in store – Rang up as $49.88 in store – they're not on display at my local Home Depot, had to get an employee to look it up and forklift it off a pallet way above on a shelf. Will echo speculation that this is a Black Friday deal that Home Depot is probably prepping for but not yet active on their website; considering that this specific product is not normally in the Rigid line up of wet/dry vacs – seems like it's an updated, NXT version of the Ridgid WD1640 specific for Black Friday - https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/wd1640

I coupled this with the $25 Ridgid car accessory kit so was $80 in total for both. Pretty good IMO.

edit: 50/50 on whether or not this is a Black Friday specific model - the Home Depot product page for the HD1640 actually has a legit video commercial for it - which seems like great lengths just for a one off. Would speculate this is an update to the WD1640 and is so new that Ridgid themselves haven't had a chance to refresh their own line up page on their website.
