If this connects to the motor like the button does, will it allow me to open my garage door from inside my car again?
EDIT: after doing some research this doesn't wire into your motor like the button does, it instead copies your remote signal to broadcast.
I'm not a fan that the sensors uses coin cell batteries unless it can last over a year at least.
I have the old MyQ sensors 4 of them and the batteries last about a year and a half. Easy to change. Wouldn't let that stop me from getting these. I do get some unreliability on the old ones though.

Then add a new Access Notification
Under "When would you like to be notified of the above chosen actions?" choose "Remind Me" and select 10 minutes (or 5, 15, whatever)
Hope that helps.
edit: I found my answer - a single hub can handle 2 sensors, but need a new hub for the third.
1) Notifications to my watch every time the door opens or closes
2) Automatically close the door (and notify me) when the door is left open past a certain hour
3) Enables secure Amazon Key delivery
I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate these functions. The notifications in particular provide peace of mind in a couple of ways: I drive away from the house quickly now without sitting and watching to make sure the garage door closed (my watch confirms it after I'm halfway down the street. And no matter where I am in the house, I know when a member of my family has arrived home (or left, for that matter).
No subscription here. And I have not had any battery issues yet with the sensor.
Thanks

- Go to the "home" screen (where it shows you whether your door is currently open or closed and for how long)
- Click on the "..." button (underneath the status of your door)
- Click "Notifications and Alerts"
- Click "+ Add Access Notification"
Also, as someone else mentioned, you can also be notified if your door is open at a specific time of day, ex. if the door is open at 10PM, using the same method aboveLeave a Comment
