Good price but expect battery to fail after 1 year with regular use. Customer service is the worst. If you get lucky, you could get one that is 17-18MPH instead of 15-16MPH
I've had mine for 3 years now and I use it regularly to commute (about 2.5 miles each way) and in the rain as well. I'm on my 3rd set of tires recommend that you place their tube tires with the solid ones! Battery life isn't as good as it was brand new (have to charge every day now) but it has been dead rock reliable. Probably will pick up a 2nd one to be my spare when my 1st does die.
There are so many electric scooters and e-bikes in the market today. Most of these companies will get consolidated or shut down in a few years. Finally all we will be left with is additional e-waste that does not have replacement parts.

Is the coaxial jack for a different charger? How did you know the control board would work with a different battery
I used the coaxial jack from Thinkpad, parts I had already had and fit the gotrax charger. So I just soldered one on the battery and one on the scooter. The $38 hover pack is also a 20 cell (10S2P) 36 volt and the charging is limited by the voltage. I will try to post a pic or video.
optional 2 year Allstate protection plan offered for an extra $39, which states that it covers mechanical defects and normal wear and tear. However, clicking through to the "sample" terms and conditions listed by Allstate for Target transactions, these coverages are not clearly delineated... buyer beware.

That would be great to see. The battery issue is boffins me back from buying here, but seeing a way to splice in a third party battery may make this a true slickdeal
When a product has a 90 day warranty, there is a very very good reason for it.
That either says the company doesn't have confidence in their product or knows that typically something fails under a year and It gives them a way out of not having to deal with a bunch of warranty repairs!

Is that why this company is selling for that low price to amass more buyer without brain?

Mike, trying to revisit this to see if you were able to have a video and/or pics of this setup. Thanks in advance.

How about a credit card extended warranty if the battery doesn't hold much charge?
Watching online the change to a solid tire is a pain in the asss....

what do you think of this budget electric scooter since it has solid tires and would be $187 pre-tax? Not terrible range and max speed
