my company had business lines with ATT. They routinely added services that required our office to call (average employee time 2-4hrs) and everytime that it was promised to be fixed resulted in them adding new lines/services on the next bill. 8 months,I finally made it to the ATT VP who then personally visited our office and called from our landline and recorded the BS that their service reps spilled over the phone about fixing the issue. The problem, Reps are paid by new service and addons they create for a account. They were changing our lines every month so it looked like new lines/service and they would get/meet their quotas and bonuses. He then identified who he was and got the department manager on the phone, fixed our issue and then credited us 2 years of service for the hassle (saved us a few thousand). After that free service was up, switched to voip service.
Personal cell service. 1 phone, 1 ipad which is $10 extra a month. Called to change ipads on the account. "sure no problem, we will send a new sim card free of charge and no cost to swap it over to the account." Going on 4 months of them billing $80 just for the ipad and everytime I call, "so sorry, I'll fix that today and you will see credits for the last couple of months over charging." every bill, same BS with no credits. Short of just canceling service, the consumer doesnt have much choice except waiting and wasting hours on the phone with support. Chatting takes even longer with same result. Unfortunately for me I live in a major metro area and some kind of fnnnnn black hole where only ATT works. I could switch and use a phone with wifi calling but that is a pain if I were to leave the house, drop the call and wait until a mile later to redial.
So for some, ATT is the equivalent of hell on earth.

I don't know if the rep I talked to business care is cheating or not but I called to ask for the number no longer in service for past two weeks due to old flip phone and I assumed due to 3g upgrade and asked for status. She instantly said they will send Any phone to me for free and only sales tax applies and told she will be opening a new line and asked for cc and ssn and she said am eligible for iphone 13 max for free with only $80 with autopay discount(how on earth autopay applicable here when service is being paid by company) and after a hour of call saying phone is mine and no monthly charge to card she said my ID is not going through.. may be she entered wrong ssn and asked for questions which is not applicable to me.. finally I argued for taking more of my time and cut it.. now is she trying to open a new line for me to put service on my cc or did I miss a golden offer of iphone13 max for 80$(which I believe bull from her)

The OG unlimited plus have access fees now?
I did a trade in that said I would get $700 and gave me only $350. False advertising and wouldn't honor their own deal!
I called them one time and they upgraded me to the elite unlimited plan without my consent and also called another time and added insurance to my phones without consent?!
Move to Mint…. $20/month with unlimited talk, text and 8gig of data.
