Basically you want to Create an emuMMC (clone of your stock and) and that's you hacked CFW. And if you want to go back to stock just eject microSD and boot normally.
Read guide should be fine, ah there's lots of community on reddit /r/SwitchPirates/ if you need extra help.

Thanks. I just asked because my watch is now OLED they upgraded and the battery life significantly was worse after they upgraded. I almost have to turn my brightness near 10% just to get the battery life I did before around 55% to 75%.
