Offer Notes:
This is a barebones PC, meaning it still needs a CPU, RAM, and SSD/HDD.
Availability will vary by location.
Specs:
ASUS Z590-A PRIME Intel LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard
ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti V2 Mini LHR Overclocked Dual-Fan 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card
ASUS TUF Gaming GT301 Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case - Black
ASUS TUF GAMING 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze ATX Non-Modular Power Supply
Note this is a 10/11 gen mobo, and if you want 12th gen, it wont work.
Pass for me. Z590 mobo is 11th Gen intel. For price-performance value, the i5 12400 is the sweet spot. Needs a z6xx mobo that supports ddr4 to be hot. A z690 would give you a solid upgrade path.
Don't get hung up on the 12th gen Techtooober hype.

This case is pretty small and just ok. I got a prebuilt with this case and then moved everything into a new case immediately after receiving it. Airflow in mine was poor but honestly it had poor fans installed so not sure who to blame.
I haven't kept up with building PC's in the last couple of years or so. My son is trying to build a gaming PC and so we bought this. Looking to pair this kit with Intel Core i5-11600K and this bundle:
Yes, it will be great, but I wouldn't trust that random cooler. Get something name brand that you know is built around a genuine Asetek AIO cooler, like this:

Z590 mobo worth about $100, case and PSU both worth about $50 each. You're paying about $500 for the mini LHR 3060 Ti, which is ok right now. But with GPU prices falling like a rock, it would be foolish to jump on a mediocre deal like this rather than wait a couple weeks.
Couldn't disagree with this more. 12th gen is a huge performance upgrade. Usually going up one generation isn't a big upgrade, but this time it was
You can look at various benchmarks and see the performance, I stated earlier in the thread that a 12600K is about 15% faster than a 9900K/10700K/11600K/11400. The 12700K is even faster and an incredible bargain. The 12900K/KS is on worldwide overclocking leaderboards with the 5950X and games better.
Regardless, if you have a good cpu from the last couple years and an average GPU, you shouldn't be falling all over yourself to upgrade. On a new build with a good budget, you can't beat the value, so why not. Or if you have a 3080 and game at 1440P144, sure. With this 3060 Ti and 1080P240, sure. I've got a 3090 KP with a 9900K, could possibly upgrade to a 12700K for ~$550 and throw down some fat benches, but I game at 4K120 and doubt I would notice much difference. On this 3060Ti with 1440P144 or 4K, you would be hard pressed to notice a difference between a 10400, 11600K and 12600K.

I went from a 9900K to a 12700k. Rest of parts the same, including the Ram. 1440p. Rtx 3070ti. Frames went from 100 to about 165. After selling my old board, cpu and cooler, I paid $200 to upgrade. I hate telling people to upgrade for 1 to 3 generations, but the performance difference is huge.

Thanks, you obviously have a stronk GPU and are gaming at 1440P, so for whatever game you're playing you got excellent results. I would hope anyone running high end hardware can identify when they have a massive CPU bottleneck.
the guy who reviewed the case in https://www.digitalcitizen.life/a...01-review/ has the RAM in the wrong slots. It should be in DIMM2 and DIMM4 for if he's only using 2 RAM sticks. In the picture, it's in DIMM1 and DIMM3. This can cause programs to crash and the system will randomly BSOD. There should be no clearance issue if there's only two sticks of RAM and they're placed in the correct slots. Page 17 in the asus prime z590 manual shows you're supposed to put it in "DIMM-A2 and DIMM-B2" if you have two RAM sticks https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASU...UM_WEB.pdf

I'll post a basic ~$1000 build when PPP stops lagging.

and this liquid cooler: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L8PQ3ZF/
Would these work well together?

Yeah but they are more expensive.

But it might not clear the ram. You could front mount it (not my preference). Or just get a good air cooler.
The CL24 / CLC240 should be plenty for an 12600K.
