Ordered one and just returned it to the store. Very flimsy. My recommendation would be to skip this and wait for something else.
Just what I need to repair my T60 power armor!
If you aren't powerlifting this is good for your average lifter. From what I've seen in the gym over the years, most people won't be squatting more than 245 or benching over 225. This handles those weights but you can't rack it aggressively, nor should you really ever. Frankly for 200$ its a pretty sweet cage - thats just my experience. I was looking for a squat and bench rack. This is a bonus with the pullup and ability to add on pully attachment.

There isn't any stock rack on the sides, though, for the weights, which stinks.

You get what you pay for yes. With that said you paid 200 bucks so 🤷. Dont be expecting the top of the line gear here. If I spent 2k on it then bitching about the quality is a must. For 200 bucks this could be a very good gateway rack. U spend 200 and have extra for other gear like weights or a bench. Again im looking at this as beginner stuff. Get your feet wet with this and see how far you can go. Most ppl won't need to be lifting more that what this can handle. And if they are then they probably already have something better.

Was literally gonna say this lol. For $200, it'll get the job done for most people unless you're a heavy lifter but if you are, you're probably at a dedicated gym already. I've almost bought this a few times cause I just started lifting again a few months ago but I'm planning on joining a gym soon rather than spending thousands on home gym equipment

You can add the weight plate holders to the side. I have 4 on mine qnd they been good so far

I'm all about not overbuying and saving a buck for "good enough." Just wanted people to know that even with that mindset, I found this to be a total piece of junk. The catches have about a fifty cent piece's worth of metal support under them--if that.

Someone else above asked if I was able to return. Yes, I called Walmart and they offered to have the shipper pick it back up, but I didn't want to stick them with the return shipping since I felt I had taken a known gamble on it, so I just took it to the store--which they offered as an option.

I cannot comment on the quality but I purchased this item back in January. When I finally got around to assembling it I noticed there were no instructions and all the Hardware was missing. Some of the reviews on the website mentions that as well. Walmart told me to send it back and they would send me a replacement. Six chats and three weeks later no replacement. Ended up just getting the refund. Least expensive power cage I could find so I ended up repurchasing it at $50 more a week ago. Just got off with chat after seeing this post and was able to get it at this price. Thanks op!

TL;DR: if purchasing this item you may experience missing hardware, no instructions and a headache!

Just got mine a few weeks back. It's not the greatest of quality, but with the weights I use it works fine.
It came with all the instructions and hardware I needed. Put it together in about an hour with no drama.
With a bench, mats, plates, and a bar, I'm at about $650 for a home gym with all the recent deals listed here.
It doesn't come with weight racks though. If you do buy some, you need to make sure you get them from BalanceFrom since the size isn't a standard 2"x2".

I've had mine for about 2 years. Tbh it had rust already when it came in but I went with it. Been holding strong. Most I've added would be 3 plates plus yhe bar so anything above is not going to be commented on. Even at that I felt uneasy about it. It proved me wrong many times already. Very impressed with this POS rack haha.

Ordered and assembled and used this all within the last month. It's good quality for the price. There's some movement but it works just fine. Arrived with all parts, instructions, and undamaged. I'm happy with this purchase.

Have this from about 2 yearz, ao far its great, got the side and center attachments cable pulle. My one is not a standard 2" so for exta J hooks you have to go with the same brand or 3rd party seller
I dont have any ballance issues because i have the cable set on the side and my rack is super srable.

Nice, looks great! You might want to build something for shade, or use an ez-up type canopy. I've found it makes a big difference in comfort during the day.

A friend has this and it's okay for the money. We've squatted a little over 250 lbs and it holds decent. We aren't aggressive with racking, but like another comment said, it's okay for average lifter not power lifting. My big take away advice is to just buy some quality J-hooks. The one's that come with it have bent over a few months or so and look so sketchy in my experience. Saving a few bucks and potentially getting really injured isn't worth it. If you really are looking to power lift, spend the extra money to get a better set up.

Packaging is total shit. Bought one a while back and it showed up damaged two separate occasions with pieces bent, scratched, etc. Bit of a headache getting that all sorted out. Be prepared…

Ordered and they never delivered it. Just got a refund after waiting 3weeks. Don't bother is my advice when you consider the quality comments.

Any advice on where to get a compatible solid J hook for it?
