Does anyone else think/feel we'll see another $100 price drop during the holidays? Not in a rush to buy one but I'd rather not run around and look for one either

The longer you wait, the more the existing models will fall in price because M2 Pro and M2 Max will eventually come out.

I don't know, the $749 for the Macbook Air M1 at Best Buy has never been matched again I don't think. I doubt we'll see lower than this for 2022 with $250/$300 off. Even during the holidays. I hope I'm wrong of course!

I felt like this is a better deal than Apple Edu. A bit more expensive but no need to deal with apple GCs..

Oh I know, just this is the lowest price so far for the 14" and 16" inch with pretty substantial discounts. Not sure we'll see it lower this year, even during the holidays. And people thought the $749 Air would come back, but it hasn't.

This is a great deal for the 1TB model with the 10/16 core M1 Pro, sold by Apple for $2499.

The $1749 one has 512GB and an 8/14 core M1 Pro, also a great deal, sold by Apple for $1999.

The difference between M2 Air 16/512 and 14" MacBook Pro 16/512 with AppleCare through education site is ~$430 (after taxes).

Worth the difference? Can't decide. Not a video editor but I do photography work.

The pro has a dedicated SDXC input. You'd have to get a dongle or hub for the Air otherwise. Pro should have a better screen too. Pro is heavy though.
