Found this 50% off at Walmart today. Bought it. Out the door $199 + tax.
I see it's been posted many times in the past, but as "available", not lately. And no need to rehash the TN screen business. I get it. Its okay. And for $199, if you web surf, check email, use productivity apps as I do, I don't think you will mind it. I was getting frustrated having to lay out $500+ for a simple laptop today. It's funny as I ordered an Acer Chromebook from Walmart online the other day just to see how it worked for me. Should come next week. It has 17 inch IPS 1920x1020 screen.($129) Go figure.
I find it rather quick. I am not a gamer, so can't say what will work and what wont.
Brickseek shows OOS for zip 12401 but they had 2 when I asked.

Just so I didn't just give my opinion, I chatted with HP just now and their response was...
"With this model, the screen is always TN and not IPS".

I don't think I've ever managed to get a deal with brickseek and Walmart in the 5+ years I've tried, despite knowing better. Most of the time it's either oos or regular price or much more expensive. And in the rare case that it claims there's some stock available it's no where to be found...
There are several videos on YouTube which may answer your questions.

Former employee here. 100% can confirm this as we already get paid what Walmart wants to pay and raises are few and far in between. I was a cart pusher at a grocery Walmart and the senior people already hoarded all of the good stuff by the time my shift ended and I was able to buy the stuff smh
