Is this one with one 16GB ram soldered? I mostly do photo editing and light gaming. I should be fine with 16GB. But I noticed more RAM helps when doing heavy photoshop. I'll probably add another stick of 16GB later.

Never mind: I see that 8GB Soldered + 8GB SODIMM

but is the second stick replaceable . I realize that's a big expense to do right away but down the road it's an option

I thought the same thing on this exact model but I am concerned about OBE laptops . I bought a BB OBE Apple Watch with no issues— however with laptops I would worry whether they were returned for quality control issues. Reading SD comments over the years it becomes clear that every laptop manufacturer has some QC issues. On the other hand it is also clear that people are using the return option as the new way to shop— buy 3 laptops — compare them and return 2. I guess you can always return it however

I find it strange this getting a lot of thumbs down. This should be one of the best light gaming laptop for this price.
