Some are saying that when you first set it up, windows updates force CPU at 100 percent until all updates are done o.O

fans kick in just charging.. i rememebr i was reseting the laptop, fans were on full blast lol
Depends on your settings. Also there is only so much you can do to cool high end components in a small format factor. Not good for gaming on your lap, but on a desk/table it's fine.

i tried to tweak the fan curve, didnt help. right now im testing the acer triton, it's also 14 inch, it dles ~40C, when doing basic stuff, the fan hums. and not annoyingly loud when fans kick in max during games.. it has a 3060, a bit weaker than the 6700s

When I am not gaming, I have it set on Eco mode and on silent and the temps stay low for everyday tasks and no fan noise. It's cool enough to actually use as a laptop.
Right now I have it set to Ultimate/Turbo and its mid 50s watching youtube and browsing the web.
