So the 3500 was a 3600 but without the hyperthreading. How is the 5600 different from the 5500?

the 5500 is just a 5600g without the igpu. it differs significantly from the 5600/5600x. at least in a few years when the 5600g is obsolete, it will still have use in a basic task office machine without the need for a dgpu to work. at this same price the i3-12100 is noticeably faster.
