I have this one. It's one of the most recommended ones out there for under $100. When I bought mine from Amazon, it was offered along with this completely optional anti-glare/reflection attachable lens[amazon.com] in a bundle. IMO dash cams don't really need to be recording in 4k. 4k video recordings eat up space so quickly (and only wear down the microsd faster) and don't provide that much more clarity over 1440p, so 1440p is still that happy medium to be at. I've found that image quality is pretty good and sharp enough to capture license plates provided they're no more than a couple cars away. I recently got rear-ended at an intersection and sent the footage from this very cam to my insurance within hours. I'm pretty positive it didn't impact the final outcome, but the other party's insurance company sure didn't seem to waste a whole lot of time in accepting complete fault not even 2 days later.
In case anyone's wondering, I've read frontal dash cams alone tend to be good enough for an overwhelming majority of collision cases as the insurance adjuster just wants to know things like where you were positioned/what direction the car was moving. That being said, I may still at one point upgrade to the duo version for that odd, freaky edge case that comes out against me. With how many dummies on the road are on their phones while behind the wheel and prone to lying to their insurance companies, peace of mind is priceless.

I got this dashcam recently too. It seems great so far and the camera has a wide view angle which helps. In the video recordings I've checked, the quality is definitely good enough to make out plates as zeth006 mentioned above.
The only issue I've had so far is the included "static sticker" doesn't seem to be reliable and tends to fall off after time. I was trying to avoid placing the adhesive directly on the windshield, but for the sake of stability might have to end up doing that.

I got it for the same price last month. Nothing special about this deal BUT it is a very very good dashcam compared to most dashcams for the same $.
I recommend it 200% and no I'm not exaggerating heck I even considered and tried the Insignia dash cam for a similar price from Best Buy and this one is mighty better...like having little Caesars pizza vs local-mom and pop NY or Domino's pizza for similar buying power. 😅
you know...🤔 I had wished for the inclusion of rear camera because I wanted that extra peace of mind in case I get rear ended by a 16 year old driver or Homer Simpsons 🥸 but couldn't justify the extra cost . It was almost $150 last time I checked 😕so I'm good with this one for the money.
hopefully, the rear standalone rear dash cam will go cheaper by BF 2022. I have nothing to lose by waiting.

Will the filter remove the reflection off the dashboard? Right now I can see the outline of the speaker in the middle of the dashboard in the video.
