Very good prices.
But, I'll probably wait for Black Friday (in November) or after Christmas. I have a feeling we'll see the same prices again, and hoping there will be some Visa or Amex card offers to make it even better at that time.

This is true. Black Friday is around the corner. This year we will likely see steeper prices to drive consumer spending.
The price per terabyte is cheaper on the SanDisk 4TB Extreme Portable SSD V2 at $75 per terabyte vs SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD V2 at $80 per terabyte.

dude, this is the best deal i have ever seen for this SSD. It start at $250, went down to $200 and stay there for awhile. Then it went down to $180 and now at $160. Can't get any better than this.
Wtf is that website though? 64% discount fire sale advertisement. Lol
You mean B&H? It's a huge, well-known and well-respected photo/audio/video superstore in NYC. Very much legit.
And these are certainly the best prices I've seen for these drives, especially the 4TB. Will they go lower? Maybe, but who knows by how much and when? I suspect BF deals will be more or less the same as these.

Anyone here ever play games off of a portable Extreme v2? How was your experience?
Haven't used this specific drive but have used NVME drives in enclosures with the same performance. Have no issues running large Steam and Battle.net games from them. Frankly, I'm not sure I could tell a difference between the external vs a faster internal NVME.
Just make sure you've got a USB 3.1 or 3.2 port. Otherwise, the speed would be limited to roughly a SATA SSD. Even then, that's still plenty fast enough for most games.

Mine came out to be $173 tax included.
