Every. Single. Thread. Someone like you shows up. People have hundreds of terabytes of storage for all sorts of things.

Amex offers $25 CB on $250+ may help some folks

I only have "extra 1 point per $ spent at bestBuy" in my Plat account

Are these offers mutually exclusive?

I suspect I'm not gonna get the $25 offer show up in my account.

Enjoy your down vote. Does Slickdeals have a system to incentivize ppl not shtposting? Like if they have too many downvotes they can't post anymore?

Just a heads up to people purchasing this to shuck, my 18TB drive was a white label WD180EDGZ that required the 3.3v pin trick to be detected by BIOS. YMMV though on what internal drive is used.

Depending on your NAS you may avoid the 3.3v PIN problem altogether as it only affects certain PSUs. Otherwise it's as simple as getting something like kapton tape and covering the 3 pins on the HDD itself. There are quite a few YouTube videos that show both how to easily shuck these external drives and bypass the 3.3v issue.
