Just a heads up to people purchasing this to shuck, my 18TB drive was a white label WD180EDGZ that required the 3.3v pin trick to be detected by BIOS. YMMV though on what internal drive is used.

regarding power and 3rd pin, if you have an older PSU with the molex 4-pin connectors and use a molex to SATA power adapter you dont have to cover/modify the 3rd pin.

Thanks! The 14TB is the better deal and is still only $200!

I'll be up in NH tomorrow and can pickup a pair tax free - the Amazon UK deal for $256/ea + tax comes to about the same total but warranty and returns on that deal are unclear - Live Free or Die

most NAS backplanes account for SATA 3.3, but worst case taping over the pins is an option

I've gotten multiple Dell offers - concurrently

think it depends on how fast you load the offers and allow others to show up.
lately I've been getting a boatload of pet food and pet DNA offers - not sure why but those will bury other offers until they're moved from Available

Quote from cheshirecat :
I only have "extra 1 point per $ spent at bestBuy" in my Plat account

Are these offers mutually exclusive?

I suspect I'm not gonna get the $25 offer show up in my account.

Photo/video backup. We can easily shoot hundreds of GB per session and you always back up the data before going in to edit it. Current professional camera RAW files range 40-120mb per photo(nevermind 4k/8k video)....space gets used up quickly.
