    JUST FYI!!! the 6500xt (with warranty) it just a replacement for the rx580 (no warranty) in performance if you are running at PCIe 3.0. At Pcie 4.0 you might gain maybe 10-15% more performance.

    Benchmark showed that its slower than the GTX 1060 3GB... $99 is about what its worth in today GPU price to performance... The positive is its not an Nvidia Card and its Fully DirectX 12.2 (lastest) card

    People running the RX 6700 XT ($350+) or RTX 3060 Ti ($399+) seem happy on 1440p. Possibly go up one level if you want more longevity or find a deal.

    I bought a 6600 at $190 earlier for video editing, but noticed that 6600 is NOT in Adobe Premiere Pro's supported GPU list, while this 6500 XT is in the list. Should I return 6600 and keep this 6500 XT? Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Seriously considering this for an old PC so it can be used for basic gaming. (Minecraft, Fortnite, etc.)

    I'm aware that this card kinda sucks, but I can't find anything else for $100 or less, which is all I want to spend. A used GTX 1050 or 1650 would be fine for me, but those are still selling for $100+.

    Regarding the rebate, it looks like Amazon is an authorized reseller for Asus laptops and desktops.

    I can't find anything specific about video cards though. If you click "where to buy" on the specific product page, it does not give a link to Amazon:

    But for some other models they do link to Amazon, for example:

    So it seems likely that Amazon is an authorized reseller for this model too.

    Edit: I walked through the rebate registration process, and they do allow you to select Amazon as place of purchase. I think Amazon is ok as long as the item is sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller.

    GL man. I don't need a low profile GPU, but I'm aware how much of a pain it is to find a reasonably priced one after trying to help several friends upgrade prebuilt desktops that could use one.
