Arc is a first gen dedicated GPU product from Intel so yes, it will have it's issues. Compared to drivers at launch vs now, Intel's done quite a bit of improvement at a quick pace. Hoping they keep up with the issues and resolve them quickly as they move forward
It's very apparent that we need another GPU option inserted into the market because the current two have taken things out of hand.
I'm looking into building a PC for my youngest and I definitely would not rule out Arc.
Intel doesn't have very good validation engineers to validate their drivers in each and every component of their product offerings (CPU might be the only one that is competent). Their R&D isn't bad but the validation process needs a lot of work and I don't see that improving anytime soon unless huge amount of capex will be pouring to prop up that last crucial part of the product design/manufacturing.
I don't have enough experience with NVDA but I think based on recent industry development, NVDA is the new Apple isn't it? All hail king Jensen.

A750 has ray tracing performance on par with Nvidia's 3000 series, RDNA 2 unfortunately has far far worse RT.
A750 outperforms the 6650 XT in newer games with new API. Though the 6650 XT outperforms it in older games or ones with older API.
A750 has AV1 encoding, only the brand new $800+ GPUs have it so far.
A750/Arc has better H.264 and H.265 encoding, both in quality and speed.
A750/Arc has AI XMX cores that allow it to accelerate AI workloads, like Gigapixel AI (which comes free with Arc), and a few Adobe features, and whatever else ends up using it.
A750/Arc can use XeSS upscaling, which has better quality than FSR 2, though it can also use FSR 2 if a game doesnt support XeSS.
A750/Arc is supported by Plex, AMD GPUs arent officially supported.
Drivers are improving, yes AMD's are currently better, but as we've seen since launch Intel is gaining performance on the competition.
Finally, you are supporting a 3rd competitor. Look at AMD and Nvidia's current gen pricing, its insanely high. The sooner we end that duopoly, the sooner we get GPU prices back to normal.
