I moved my Windows VM to my x86 server and now remote in to them, works perfectly fine and don't have to worry about bugs, interactions or slow-downs.

If this is really true, game developers should really be porting more games to MacOS.
Never thought we'd dump Windows but our mobile stuff - phones and tablets - are already Apple and we have one MacBook Air M1. October 2025 (end of Win10) is coming fast and these Mac Mini M2's at $499 are looking very tempting.
Bonus 1: Loving the automatic - and 100% complete - seamless back up of all Apple devices as well as the seamless cross platform texting, internet, copy/pasting, photos, Find me, AirTags, etc…
Bonus 2: With Windows 11, Microsoft went all in with Google Android mobile integration, providing another reason for Apple mobile folks to leave Microsoft.
[EDIT:] I'm old enough to not be defensive about down flags on the anonymous Internet, but having a large number of Windows 10 machines in our home, I am sincerely interested in the specific counter arguments to my comment. Where, specifically, is the comment flawed, particularly for mainstream Internet browsing, streaming, email, etc…? Are the down flaggers gamers? I'd totally understand that but please say so.

M2 Mini w/ 256GB SSD takes a read/write hit compared to 512GB+ - still stinkin' fast, your call if the way you use it will suffer
8GB ram looks low for spec-racing, but punches above its weight compared to other platforms because, among other things, it's embedded into the M2 chip (as with M1)
You can expect 5-7 years of OS Upgrades (new features) out of these things and Updates (security) to whatever macOS Apple decides to max the device at for a couple years after that. Not surprising since they make the money off of the hardware sale, not the OS license sale.
M3 was always a given, but it looks like it may be coming earlier than expected. Post-Covid supply chains be unpredictable even for trillion dollar companies.

For those on the fence - I use this system primarily as an RDP to another machine, but also typically have about ten Safari tabs, Microsoft Teams, Apple Music/Spotify, Discord, Excel, Messages, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp open, as well as a Stream Deck, Elgato Control Center, and OpenDNS running in the background. I do record from time to time with Logic Pro but it's rare and it's a hobby, not work, so time savings aren't a big deal to me there. In other words, this is mostly a 'work from home' computer and not an enthusiast/creative setup.
So far memory pressure is hovering at about the same amount as the MBP and I haven't noticed anything sluggish. The MBP sat at about 13 GB memory used, this one's sitting at 6.4 GB. No complaints yet but if I get any stuttering or freezing, this one will go back for a 16g/512g and I'll update here.
