do note that a couple of years back when i got this used deal the first modem while connected wasnt working right. the second replacement modem has been working great for a couple of years now. so, you might want to test now instead of waiting if purchasing for a backup.
This is the price for "Used - Acceptable". You can pay ~$6 more ($45.32) and get the "Used - Good". Both shipped/sold by amazon.
Also, this is one of the modems with the Broadcom BCM3390 chipset (NOT the buggy Intel Puma 6).
in my opinion, this is the default language which amazon uses on most of the warehouse products just to cover themselves in case of a cosmetic damage. I have ordered many from amazon warehouse with this description and barely any of them had cosmetic blemishes aligning to this language. Maybe its my luck, but thats my experience so far.

Will this do above 1 Gbps? I keep getting a notification that my 3.0 router isnt fast enough. Not really on my radar to upgrade because should have fiber this year or early next and what's really the real world difference between 900 and 1000 down.
This is pretty cheap though.

Order a Like new one ($48) yesterday. I got it this morning. It has label shows "refurbished". Basically, it come from this link:

I got the Used - Good yesterday - "Condition: Used - Good - Small cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Small cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item. Missing bonus material. Missing manual. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged".

This one says - " Used - Acceptable - Cosmetic imperfection(s) bigger than 1" on top, front or sides of item. Cosmetic imperfection(s) bigger than 1" on bottom or back of item. Missing bonus material. Missing manual. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged."
Does cosmetic imperfections bigger than 1 inch mean someone kicked it around ?

These are old AF now should be $10 at best.
They were released six years ago, but are still the second-fastest modem that Arris makes. For anyone who is still on Docsis 3.0 or older with up to gigabit speeds its a good deal.

Says 1Gbps per ethernet port. So each device connected can only do 1gbps. Might be able to do port aggregation if you look into that, but the receiving device would also have to support it if this modem supports it.

It seems like it needs to be "multi gigabit" docsis 3.1

Kinda dumb that there's different levels of 3.1

This is a killer price, but it has been a few bucks cheaper recently. I got it for $35.xx last week.

Are previous models completely useless? What do you do with them? Just recycle bin? I guess you can't get voice control using these on Xfinity?
