This is a good drive for the price. It's probably the fastest PCIe gen 3 SSD you can get in the budget category. Although I would suggest get the 2TB version instead. More space, and a larger DRAM cache. Or get two of these to RAID 0.

Depends on your use case. If you are an average user, you are never going to notice the speed difference between most NVMe drives.

Wish it comes in 2230 form factor. Wish any manufacturers would do more 2230. I don't have steam deck but I'd buy a small one and make an usb out of it

curious. anyone aware of energy usage comparisons between this and other SSD drives when used in laptops/portables? Know the Hynix Gold is known for it's efficiency, but wasn't sure how this one compared
