I own(ed) this monitor as well. Even though it had great reviews, mine started displaying grey bars three months after the warranty ended. If you are going to buy any LG monitor please get it from Costco or get a good extended warranty on it.
I have the 950 version and it barely made it 2 years before the backlight went out.
Not worth it. Get the Dell 34" Amoled for $150-200 more whenever it pops up on refurbished

Not sure if curved monitors are generally less reliable or maybe we both got bad apples. I bought an early model Dell ultrawide 34 and the screen appeared to delaminate when it was warming up, but then fine after it was warm. https://imgur.com/a/Lr5BuJo
I got it replaced, but then the same started happening with my replacement Dell years later. It looked like condensation in 5% the screen, but didn't bother me too much since it went away each time.

Working at fry's. LG monitors always came with a 3yr warranty. They must not be the same LG
I'm not sure of all the right specs to look for. Mainly this is for trading. Need lots of real estate and quick response for close up charts and details.
Every time I decide to bite the bullet and give LG a chance they fail me
-LG washer failed
-LG Thrill smartphone failed
-LG G7 failed
-LG C1 OLED failed
-LG Multi V commercial AC units (at my work) failed. lasted 4 years now the replacement bill is over half a million dollars.
-LG tone Bluetooth buds (3 pairs) all failed
I have never had issues with Samsung branded products failing prematurely.

I'm also curious on what the comment is talking about. The one you mentioned is a VA panel not OLED
For this price, get the above mentioned or the MSI Artymis 34. I went with the latter and have absolutely zero regrets. This VA looks way better than so many IPS panels I tried. I don't buy into all the IPS>VA hype.

I have Samsung TVs, fridge, washer and dryer. Ice maker in the fridge failed after 3 months. It was repaired numerous times under warranty - now out of warranty and it's broken again. Washer and dryer have had numerous issues and many recalls. Our appliance repair guy said Samsung appliances keep him in business. My older set of washer/dryer (Maytag) are still marching on - thank heavens I kept them. They get used way more than they should b/c the Samsungs are always breaking.
I have this monitor. Built a full new system during Covid when the 3080 dropped. It's been great and haven't had any issues with it even to this day. Seeing it at half price always hurts the soul though.

Are there any 4K models in this 34" ultrawide screen size?

This monitor comes with a 1 year warranty, not three. Unless you buy the extended like I mentioned in my comment. Go check the product page on LG.
