Personally I think now is a pretty good time to build, I dont think the 12700k will go any lower, Z690/B660 is very cheap as they are on sale as Z790/B760 replaced them (but arent that much of an upgrade), DDR5 prices have tanked and are very cheap right now too. Maybe you can save a bit of money waiting 4 months, but I doubt youll save enough to justify waiting that long.

My only hesitation is that Newegg and Microcenter may have some solid bundles with this CPU soon.
