No, but the 4070 TI is very overpriced. The 7900 XT is the one to get in that price bracket.
Waiting for the 6800 xt to come back below $500

What about compared to a 1080ti?

TechPowerUp's website says that the 6800 is 51% more performant than 1080Ti: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-s...0-ti.c2877

I think the 6800 is like 25% faster than the 2080 super. It's not a huge increase, but i don't think that it is incremental.

36% faster.

Anyone running an XFX card? I was looking at the 6700/6700 XT cards and while the reviews are mostly positive, a lot of the 1-star reviews are in regards to the cards frying mobos and PSUs.

Ok yeah I was going to buy something and sell my 4080. I want to at least get some money back and then buy an actual cost to performance gpu. The 4080 doesn't perform worth $1170 that I paid. If the 6800 runs 165hz at 1440p, that's a nice $600 savings.

now I need to recoup some of my losses by buying a 4080 and selling it while it's still newish.

FWIW - zero issues with my XFX RX 6600XT that was bought in the very first batch during the pandemic.

I'm running the tri-fan XFX 6700XT SWFT309 and it's quiet even at full sustained load, with just a minor undervolt (-25mV) at stock clocks. Hotspot is ~91C which is fine. If you want to turn the fanspeed up a little, it's still quiet and drives the hotspot down a little. Metal backplate. Benchmarks are only 6% slower than the MSI 6750. Only downside is that some cases can't accept ~12.5 inch cards.

The 2-fan MSI 6750 Mechx2 sucks. Little room to undervolt, and even if you do, the fans are super loud and you get 96C hotspot temps. Plastic backplate, cheaply built.

But if I had to do it all again, I would have gotten a tri-fan 6800 at $430 instead. It's slightly more power-efficient and and about the same bang for the buck as the XFX SWFT309 6700XT, and has 4GB more VRAM.

Why not 6800xt? does the built-in OC drive the power usage higher than you wanted? or do yout hink the premium isn't worth it?

If you're using it for gaming, you can try to look for videos on youtube comparing those gpus.

The 6800 is a superb card. It's #1 in fps/watt. In other words, it sips watts while pumping out more frames-per-second than any other 12th-generation (NVidia 3000, AMD 6000) series card. Best of all, it puts out REAL frames (not those imaginary frames with the washed-out colors from texture over-compression and upscaling artifacts and motion smoothing artifacts like an NVidiot card). And at this price, it's also a bargain.

The 3060ti is actually a 3070, crippled by a narrow bus. The 3060ti has abnormally good price/performance in its generation. Qualitatively the 3060ti and 6800 are very good at 1440p. The 6800 is only "okay" for entry-level 4K. Wait until tomorrow and consider the16GB 7800xt. A little better ray tracing and better h.264 and AV1 would be worth having, and power consumption should be even lower ...

Do you have a link for that ranking? I'd like to reference it for a current build. tia

Just bought this card to try out for AI application. ROCm really has come a long way. Setup is much less painful than it used to. PyTorch is working reasonably well. $430 for 16GB card, full pcie and 256b bus speed? Unheard-of for Nvidia
