Ok yeah I was going to buy something and sell my 4080. I want to at least get some money back and then buy an actual cost to performance gpu. The 4080 doesn't perform worth $1170 that I paid. If the 6800 runs 165hz at 1440p, that's a nice $600 savings.
now I need to recoup some of my losses by buying a 4080 and selling it while it's still newish.

The 2-fan MSI 6750 Mechx2 sucks. Little room to undervolt, and even if you do, the fans are super loud and you get 96C hotspot temps. Plastic backplate, cheaply built.
But if I had to do it all again, I would have gotten a tri-fan 6800 at $430 instead. It's slightly more power-efficient and and about the same bang for the buck as the XFX SWFT309 6700XT, and has 4GB more VRAM.

If you're using it for gaming, you can try to look for videos on youtube comparing those gpus.
The 3060ti is actually a 3070, crippled by a narrow bus. The 3060ti has abnormally good price/performance in its generation. Qualitatively the 3060ti and 6800 are very good at 1440p. The 6800 is only "okay" for entry-level 4K. Wait until tomorrow and consider the16GB 7800xt. A little better ray tracing and better h.264 and AV1 would be worth having, and power consumption should be even lower ...
