If you're on the fence about this vs the 4080 variant like I was pull the trigger now, run it through its paces and evaluate if you need more performance. Just be aware the upgraded versions do level off rapidly depending on thermal throttling.
Happy Friday and thanks OP

When it goes lower you have 60 days to return/price match. I just saved $250 price matching a TV I bought last month.
I don't want to get a new one until I get rid of old ones

If they're really really old, you can drop them off with Best Buy to recycle them. If they're relatively new but damaged (broken hinges/screen), you can try to sell them on eBay. Some people would try to repair it or part it out.
Wish the Lenovo had usb4 (or thunderbolt) and g-sync...
Haven't used the Asus much, just played with it in store for a few minutes. Wasn't a huge fan of the way the lid propped up the laptop. Seemed like a Lenovo build quality/durability might be better.
Thoughts?

I think everything depends on the use you'd have
For mw gaming is important, so the Lenovo isn't my choice
But if you're more on the content creation side pick it
For me Lenovo is superior in general, if they offer an IPS panel I'd pick it instead of the Asus

Oled will eventually have dead pixels so YMMV

True but we will see the BF ad before the 15 days are up (unless you want extended returns)
6700s is ok if you're on a tight budget but the 4060 is next level.
Huh, the YouTube videos I reviewed did not show a huge difference in FPS between the 6000 series AMD GPUs and the 4060. Is there somewhere that illustrates the drastic change you saw? I have the 6700s model and have chosen not to upgrade to this point for that reason.
The review for this exact model by Hardware Canucks. Great laptop for the price. The display uses mini LED technology and RTX 4060 has a TDP of 120W in Turbo mode. That's rare.
Edit: There's also an older model on clearance. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus...Id=6494633 [bestbuy.com]
The youtube video you posted confirms at 5:30 [youtu.be] that the RTX 4060 version does not have mini-LED.
