I've seen this priced normally at $299 but price might have permanently dropped since then. Solid saw for the price though. Legs are pretty sturdy and power has been good so far. Not many saws in this price range can take a dado either.

I'm amazed people are still buying this saw for "woodworking" because some Youtubers sold them on it.

On paper, it's an amazing saw. Possibly the best saw out there under $700... And there's plenty of Youtubers out there getting views and affiliate links that promote this. But as many people have realized, a "feature" is nothing when durability is an issue.

There's a lot of cheap components on this saw, and the motor is a mess (but to be expected at that price).

The biggest flaw is the quality of plastic on things like the bevel gears, handles, and levers. The lift and bevel system will wear out quick, and that's dangerous.

So just don't think this is more than it is. It's a sub $300 saw, and it should be seen as such. Check components every time you go to use it.

And with that said, even the Dewalts have gone to 💩 in quality. At this point, if I were in the market for a new table saw under $1500, I'd build my own.

That's a whole wall of gatekeeping without any real contribution to anyone. Feel better?

Have you seen it in person or tried it? (Genuine question, not a flame)
