Only option that keeps this from being a great deal is not having a backlit keyboard, other than that according to the Best Buy website its showing 1600 x 768 resolution which is good.

best buy has an answer from Asus that it is 1920x1080, but the specs on best buy do incorrectly show it's the lower resolution another poster mentioned, which is concerning

300 nits a bit low, but great price for WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 16:10 aspect ratio.

Also room to expand RAM to 16GB. Don't know if anyone has tried to pop a bigger chip in there but 12GB is plenty for most.

It's a nice chip, but already 3 years old and doesn't have the 680m or 780m igpus for decent gaming.

I've been using a similar model for about year (casual use) and rarely have problems with it. I just wish it had a touch screen.
