This or the OLED lenovo from last week? Ordered the Lenovo waiting to ship… might cancel and jump on this one since ram can be upgraded.

I was curious about this too. They seem very similar however the potential for burn in and 16GB soldered RAM on the lenovo concern me as it's for my son.

The OLED can't do GSync and the memory is 1 stick soldered. Another 16 GB stick can be put in to make it 32 GB quad channel for $45.

I returned a bunch of open box excellent. The screens had dead pixels, the trackpad was loose/rattled, numerous scratches, etc. I would just buy new if there's less chance of a defect. Save yourself the hassle.

It does not do g-sync. The 2024 g14 is the first laptop that has oled with g-sync.

Anecdotally, I attempted to buy this G14 laptop twice and both had factory defects. The price is attractive but the runaround returning two of them killed it for me.

I honestly think the Lenovo is the better buy. OLED displays are just superior to anything. You lose out a bit on refresh rate, but 120Hz is good enough for me and the far superior pixel response makes it that much better. The soldered 16GB RAM sucks, but for gaming I think 16GB is fine.

The ASUS I want to love, but the QC is just a mixed bag. Good luck getting one that doesn't have some kind of issue. Also the Lenovo just looks better overall to me, and more classy.

My only issue with Lenovo is they have done some terrible things in the past with rootkits and what-not and I just don't trust them.

hello my friends, do you guys think the stock of this g14 2023 will last until march 11? with this price? im asking because im only will be in the US for buying this on next week, i just saw the g14 with 4070 got out of stock,
Does anyone know if i buy on bestbuy on EBAY, one week later i cant refund on the ebay physical store? if a had any problems with that.

If I were to take a guess, this deal might last until Saturday or Sunday. Not fully sure but that's my guess. If you buy something from their eBay store, it says you can return it to a physical Best Buy store within 14 days but I have not tried this out myself.

"You can return almost everything within 14 days of the date of delivery for a refund. Returns are accepted in a Best Buy store or by mail."
