my favorite glove ever. I played HS ball then moved into college ball in the 80's and the minute I got this glove, it was an instant love affair. If you find the older ones from the mid 60/70's grab it. If you find the more rare A2000K, hang onto it. The K model was made with softer leather, flawless build quality and taking a longer time to make. I played with the standard A2000 and was not aware of the K model until 20 years ago and finally found as new one with tags from the 80's.
Am I missing something here? Since when do gloves cost 300
That was my thought exactly. I realize the times were in but unless you're in pro ball or perhaps trying for a scholarship and can afford it, this is ludicrous.
lol that's really ignorant. Besides, not everything is based on price per use. Especially if the increased quality gives you increased enjoyment using it. If it's not worth $300 for you, then don't buy it. A product can have a niche.

These are pro level and practically "forever" gloves as long as you maintain them.
5-20 years of use depending on the user
