My M1 (with 16GB Ram and 1TB SSD) hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. So I'm going to give it another year and see what the M4 brings. But this is a great price if you're in the market for one now.

Step by step what I did, hope someone else can get the same!
1. Microcenter link to send to BB rep: https://www.microcenter
EVEN THOUGH THIS LINK SAID OUT OF STOCK THEY STILL ACCEPTED IT FOR A PRICE MATCH
2. I went through 3 reps. The first rep said it couldn't do the because of "one per household". The second said she couldn't do it unless I picked up in Indianapolis. The third said the same with regard to Indianapolis, but they seemed like they were ready to go along with it (even in the color I wanted) so I just said I had a friend coming in to get in to get it and gave them a fake name. I did this because on BestBuy's website it says you can switch the order from pickup to shipped up to 30 minutes after it's placed. Except that wasn't true: the only option was to cancel the order :/
3. The kicker: I knew getting the price match on the OOS item was the hard part, so I just started another chat and explained that my friend can't pick it up. They had me cancel the order and created the SAME PRICE MATCH for my local store, pickup tomorrow, no problem with this rep whatsoever.

Yeah, it felt like that but didn't wanna take chance with another rep. Also a point to note is that I could only pay with credit/debit card, No PayPal option at checkout.
Tried this for an earlier price match of a MacBook Air from Best buy and it turned into a while ordeal involving the store manager where they refused to let me swap color because they said I never should have gotten a price match. YMMV though

Simple math:
He buys this macbook for $1100+ 5% (total $1155) tax in this deal. Retail is $1500+tax (total 1575). He just saved $425. He sells it locally new for $1300 making $145 profit if he is lucky. How exactly can he buy the macbook in a different color and keep this deal? He would need to buy the macbook in a different color for $1233.33 to make it a wash. Because he loses tax every time he buys, as he cant charge tax when he sells
